Dave Johns

Dave is the latest member of the band and is the only saxphone player we've ever had. As well as playing with the BVB he also plays with a saxophone quintet, a morris band and sings in a local choir in Bournemouth, where he lives. A Cornishman by birth , his rather shy appearance belies an adventurer who has travelled pretty much right round the world.

When Dave is not playing the Sax he is a chimney sweep, which he tells us, is not, as you might think, a dying trade but keeps him really quite busy.
